O novo sistema permite que o Microempreendedor Individual emita, de forma simplificada e sem custo, a NFS-e em todo o território nacional, sem necessidade de alvará de licenciamento da Prefeitura. Agora, o MEI poderá emitir notas preenchendo apenas três informações: Cadastro Nacional de Pessoas Jurídicas (CNPJ) ou Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF) do tomador do serviço, descrição do serviço e valor da nota.
