ATUALIZADA – O prefeito Emanuel Pinheiro realiza, nesta quinta-feira (17), às 8h30, o lançamento da obra de requalificação do Mercado Municipal Miguel Sutil. A obra, que impactará grandemente o centro histórico de Cuiabá, será realizada por meio de uma Parceria Público-Privada (PPP). A estrutura está localizada no cruzamento da Avenida Generoso Ponce com a Rua Joaquim Murtinho.
Segundo o gestor, o novo Mercado Municipal terá uma ampla variedade de produtos refinados, contando com barzinhos, restaurantes, consultórios médicos e escritórios de advocacia, proporcionando uma experiência única para os visitantes. Além disso, o local contará com 500 vagas de estacionamento.
A revitalização do local abarcará todo o entorno, que também contará com a implantação do estacionamento rotativo na área central, com um total de 2.500 vagas, com possibilidade de expansão.
“O nosso objetivo com esse projeto é revitalizar o centro histórico de Cuiabá, atraindo a juventude para a região e valorizando o espaço com essa nova construção. Com essa renovação, esperamos ocupar o centro histórico de uma forma nunca vista antes, trazendo vida, movimento e oportunidades para a cidade, complementando outras iniciativas e projetos que já foram realizados”, comentou o prefeito.
