Guardas municipais da 1ª Inspetoria (Centro) prenderam, no sábado (23/12), um homem de 20 anos suspeito de furtar o cordão de ouro de um empresário de 51 anos, na Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, altura do número 31, na Zona Sul do Rio. As equipes faziam o patrulhamento na região quando flagraram o suspeito caído no chão e evitaram que ele fosse linchado pela população.
Ele foi detido e levado para a 12ª DP (Copacabana), onde o caso foi registrado e o cordão devolvido para a vítima. De acordo com as equipes, antes de registrar a ocorrência na delegacia, o suspeito precisou de atendimento em uma unidade médica da região devido às agressões sofridas por populares.
Ainda no sábado, outra equipe da 1ª Inspetoria foi acionada para atender uma ocorrência de furto na Praia de Copacabana, onde uma mulher teve a bolsa furtada. Os pertences dela não foram recuperados nem o autor foi encontrado, mas a ocorrência foi registrada na 12ª DP.
