Vias de Cuiab comearam a ser preparadas desde a ltima quarta-feira e 150 agentes esto escalados para trabalhar neste domingo (14)
A Secretaria de Mobilidade Urbana escalou 150 agentes da equipe Semob para garantir a segurança e a fluidez no trânsito durante a realização da 39ª Corrida de Reis que acontece na manhã deste domingo (14). Desde a quarta-feira (10), as vias são preparadas para o evento. Hoje (12), a Avenida do CPA, no sentido centro, também passou por interdições.
A Avenida Dr. Paraná e a Ponte Sérgio Motta, em Várzea Grande, região metropolitana de Cuiabá, também serão interditadas a partir das 22h de hoje. O trânsito voltará ao normal ao término da corrida no domingo, a partir das 14h no mais tardar às 22h, em alguns trechos. Além de agentes de trânsito, a Semob disponibilizou um painel móvel para orientar os condutores sobre os desvios.
O diretor de trânsito da Semob, Michel Diniz, explica que toda e qualquer interdição traz reflexos e alterações no fluxo, mas para manter a segurança e a ordem, os agentes de trânsito estão realizando uma força-tarefa para monitorar e operar o tráfego, principalmente nos horários de pico, ao longo destes dias que antecedem a prova e, especialmente, no dia da realização da maior e mais famosa prova de rua do Centro-Oeste que irá reunir cerca de 15 mil pessoas.

Com o tradicional percurso de 10 km, a largada da 39ª Corrida será na Ponte Sérgio Mota e a chegada na Praça das Bandeiras, em Cuiabá.
