A Prefeitura de São José dos Campos encerrou 2023 com ampliação no número de viagens e veículos disponíveis no transporte público do município. Também houve a substituição dos ônibus mais antigos por veículos zero quilômetro e investimento na modernização dos pontos e nos sistemas de acompanhamento das linhas e pagamento das passagens.
Em razão das melhorias realizadas, em dezembro foi atingida a marca de 301 viagens diárias a mais no transporte coletivo. A ampliação do número de viagens contemplou principalmente os horários de pico, nos dias úteis.
Ao longo do ano passado, foram incorporados 17 ônibus, aumentando a frota para 356. Outros 16 foram substituídos por veículos zero quilômetro.
Com a inclusão de mais 6 veículos, prevista para o final deste mês, serão mais 49 viagens, levando a um total de 350 nos dias úteis, o que representa um aumento de 5,7%. No mesmo período, o número de usuários subiu 3,7%.
Ainda em 2023, VLPs foram disponibilizados nos horários de pico da manhã e tarde para viagens extras nas linhas 128 (Urbanova via Colinas ao Terminal Central), 331 (Campo dos Alemães ao Jardim Aquarius), 204A (Novo Horizonte ao Centro) e 341-B (ECO Campos de São José à Avenida José Longo).
QR code
O pacote de medidas destinadas aos usuários do sistema inclui ainda melhorias em infraestrutura.
Totens com QR code estão substituindo antigas placas de pontos de ônibus em toda a cidade. Eles são identificados pelo número para auxiliar a localização em aplicativos e mapas e identificar todas as linhas que passam pelo local.
Ao apontar a câmera do celular para o código, o passageiro tem acesso a informações sobre horários e itinerários dos ônibus e alternativos, além de outras informações sobre o sistema. Atualmente estão sendo substituídas 100 placas, mas outras 200 serão trocadas.
Abrigos
A Prefeitura também está implantando abrigos metálicos em substituição aos de madeira. Os novos equipamentos oferecem maior proteção contra chuva, sol e vento, além de garantir conforto e segurança aos usuários, pois incorporaram a previsão de instalação de iluminação própria.
Ao todo, foram feitas 48 substituições e outras 18 estão previstas. Mais 9 abrigos metálicos foram instalados em novos locais na cidade. Para aumentar a segurança, desde agosto eles estão recebendo iluminação. Dos 591 existentes, 381 já estão iluminados.
Pagamento
Entre as comodidades para o usuário, toda a frota de ônibus passou a receber o pagamento por meio de cartão de crédito e débito e carteiras digitais com tecnologia por aproximação. São aceitas as bandeiras Elo, Visa e Mastercard.
O passageiro não precisa se cadastrar para ter acesso ao serviço. Basta aproximar o cartão ou dispositivo móvel do validador no momento em que pagar a passagem, que continua custando R$ 5. A inovação tecnológica traz praticidade, comodidade e segurança para o usuário.
Aplicativos
Os usuários do transporte público de São José dos Campos podem utilizar aplicativos para planejar viagens, consultar rotas e tempo estimado, facilitando a escolha do melhor trajeto.
As plataformas Cittamobi e Moovit disponibilizam informações em tempo real sobre todas as linhas de ônibus, com mapas dos itinerários e horários de partida e chegada. Outra opção é o Google Maps, porém a transmissão dos dados não é simultânea.
Tanto o Cittamobi como o Moovit são gratuitos e compatíveis com os sistemas IOS e Android. Os links para as lojas de aplicativos estão disponíveis no site da Prefeitura.
